Southampton University Wind Orchestra presents a day of flute fun with Ian Clarke
and Tim Carey (accompanist). Ian will be holding six individual masterclasses, as
well as sessions talking about extended techniques, tone and expression. There will
be an informal concert to end the day at 5.30pm, with Flautissimo and the Hampshire
Flute Choir.
Venue: Southampton University Music Departement.
Tickets are £17.50 full
day, £3 evening concert.

Old Bexley Music Society -
Old Bexley Music Society will present a Flute and Piano Recital on Wednesday 1 December at Townley Theatre, Townley Grammar School, Townley Road, Bexleyheath at 7.30pm.
Ian Clarke on the flute and Tim Carey on piano. The works will include Sonata by Poulenc, arrangement of a Fantasy on Carmen and works by Bach. Guests welcome at £8 each.

About this event
World renowned flautist, Ian Clarke will lead this day for flute players from grade 2 and above. Take part in Ian’s multi level works “Walk like this!” and “Zig,Zag,Zoo”, and work with Ian in his creativity and technique workshops. Listen to Ian perform and present an end of day concert with all the participants.
